Paul has provided us with a number of bespoke joinery items during several years of refurbishment at our home in Guildford. Our house has some very special period aspects we wanted someone who could provide us with a complete service to design and make items and install them in a way which would compliment the existing joinery, copying mouldings and details as necessary.
These have included wardrobes together with library bookshelf's and cupboards in a number of rooms. Paul measured the rooms with care in each case, came up with good practical design ideas and always installed the joinery to our complete satisfaction.
As a retired architect I have always appreciated Paul’s care and attention to detail in both making the items and then installing them carefully into the existing fabric of our house. He is a very skilled joiner and has always both polite and courteous to employ. I have always found his charges most reasonable for the service he provides.

Paul designed and made a bespoke open tread oak staircase which enhanced the refurbishment of our home. He carefully chose the timbers so that the most interesting features were on display in prominent parts. Although we knew what we wanted he was able to offer advice and make suggestions about adjustments. The quality of his work is superb and the staircase is an exquisite piece of furniture. He took care in fitting it so that account was taken of the sloping walls and floor. As it is a central piece in the house it gives us much constant pleasure.

Paul has designed and made numerous pieces of furniture for me in a range of materials including pine, oak and veneers. My favourites include the most beautiful, intricate linen fold panelled oak front door and an oak veneered study. This room had some difficult features to overcome but Paul helped me to attain its full storage potential incorporating a made to measure desk, a free standing drawer unit, fitted cupboards and bookshelves. His attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship has always resulted in beautiful pieces that stand the test of family life and time itself.
He is one of the few people that I would have no hesitation in recommending, however large or small the job. A pleasure to work with.
